STUDIO POLICIES

Enrollment - A brief in-person interview with a parent and child is recommended before starting lessons. The recommended age for starting lessons is 7 years old or 2nd grade.  Parents wishing for their child to start lessons at an earlier age must commit to being active and present in their child’s lessons and practicing. All students must have a piano or high quality keyboard with 88 fully weighted or hammer action keys on which to practice at home. 

Tuition - Lessons are $45 per half hour lesson or $65 per forty-five minute lesson. Tuition is to be paid in advance monthly, and payments must be made by the 5th of each month. 

Attendance - Regular attendance at lessons is an important part of successful piano study. Please notify me 48 hours in advance of any non-illness related absence. Please notify me a minimum of two hours in advance of any illness related absence. If no notification is given and a student does not show up for their lesson, refunds will not be granted for that lesson.

Lesson Schedule - Lessons are offered year round. There will be no lessons during Thanksgiving break as well as during the December and April breaks. Virtual lessons will be offered on snow days.
